Anita Elaine Genobles, affectionately known as Flaucy, passed away at her home in Lyman, SC, on July 2, 2024. Born on May 13, 1946, in South Carolina, she was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew her. Flaucy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bobby Genobles, her mother, Juanita Hensley, her father, Everette Hensley, and leaves behind a legacy of warmth and wisdom that will be cherished forever.
Flaucy's life was marked by her dedication to her family and her career. As a clerk of courts in the family court, she touched the lives of many with her kindness and understanding. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her involvement in her community, where she was a respected and active member. Flaucy's spirit of service and her compassionate heart left an indelible mark on all the lives she encountered.
Flaucy found solace and joy in her garden, tending to her plants with the same care and attention she gave to her loved ones. Shopping was more than a pastime for her; it was an adventure that she embarked on with enthusiasm and zest. Her faith was paramount, and she devoted herself to her church community, embodying the love and grace that she believed in so deeply.
Family was the cornerstone of Flaucy's life. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela M. Mills and her husband Daniel, and Kelly Harrington and her husband Hubert. Her grandchildren, Christopher Mills, Justin D. Mills, Isabella Noelle Elaine Mills, Kevin Harrington, Kayla Fuller, Bryce Harrington, and Lindsey Harrington, will miss their grandmother's boundless love and the wisdom she imparted. Flaucy's playful spirit will also be missed by her cherished fur baby, Bandit Genobles, who was a constant source of joy and companionship.
Those who knew Flaucy will remember her for her loving nature, her spirited personality, and her wise counsel. She had a unique ability to make each person feel valued and loved, and her presence was a comfort to many. Her love for life was evident in her immaculate nails, her sun-kissed tan, and the laughter that followed her wherever she went. Playing with her dog, enjoying the company of her family, and living each day to the fullest were the simple pleasures that defined her.
Flaucy's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of the human spirit. She faced life's challenges with grace and emerged with a smile that could light up a room. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and the wisdom to appreciate the beauty in every day.
As we bid farewell to Anita Elaine Genobles, we celebrate a life well-lived and a woman well-loved. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family is at their respected homes.
