Martina Farge, 72, daughter of Yves Le Meur and Jeannette Le Meur (born Even) passed away on January 3, 2024 after a second battle with cancer. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Greer surrounded by family.

Known for her generosity, kindness, devotion to family, and love of animals, Martina will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Martina was a devoted and loving wife and extraordinary mother and grandmother. Martina spent many years volunteering in schools, with cat rescues, and at the Ronald McDonald house, giving of her time and energy for those that needed her. Martina found joy in teaching students French, always able to connect with her students and instill a love of learning. Her family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is preceded by her loving son, Frederic Farge, and survived by her beloved husband of nearly 53 years, Marcel Farge, her daughter and best friend, Stephanie Hoekstra (and son in law Matt), loving grandson, Alex Farge, twin sister, Josette Lesage, and sisters Yvette Teneau, and Giselle Daoust, all of France.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Rafka Maronite Catholic Church.
