Reginald Maurice Nunn, 43, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Born September 15, 1980, in Asheville, NC, he was the son of Maurice Nunn and Regina Nunn.

Reggie was a firm believer in God and passionate about his faith.

As a child, he enjoyed playing sports from recreational league to his senior year of high school. The friendships he built left a lasting impression on his heart. Reggie was a resilient and skilled individual. At an early age, he began welding and woodwork, turning his passion for working with his hands into his livelihood. Reggie lived an active life centered around personal fitness. He enjoyed spending time in nature and family trips to the beach. As a father, he lived every day for the love of his daughters, as they were his greatest joy.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Raelyn, Raine, and Emma “Rue” Nunn; sister, Monica Nunn; niece, Farryn Nunn; grandmother, Barbara Smith; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved family members.

He was preceded in death by three grandparents, Benjamin Smith, and Willie and Elsie Nunn.

A private Memorial Service for friends and family will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast Chapel.
